nice view, sport facilities available, great pool bars, excellent cuisine
beach sunbeds with 10 EUR charge, too expensive alcoholic drinks
-
Great hotel,friendly staff,good food,excellent long sandy beach,nice swimming pools,clean room.
-
Very friendly personel, we enjoyed rich breakfast and supper buffets which was in price included, nice gardens, great value for money at least during pre season (May). Definitly recommendable for a short stay for few days. It is probably the best hotel on Kassandra.
Extra charge: 10 Euro / day for sunbeds+sunumbrella on the beach, but to be fair everything else was very good so no reason to complain.
-
Very nice and unique hotel. The staff were very pleasant especially the reception department, the food were savorous and finally the sea water pools make the stay at the hotel really exotic.
The are is a misundestanting regarding the hotel location. There are two blogs, one is above the main road.
-
Very nice stay at the hotel: friendly staff, rich food menu, confortable room, warm treatment and excelent service.
-
number of swimming pools / lot of rooms, but still pittoresk
The quality of the dinner buffet was not so good and the prices of drinks high / Staff doesn't speak English very well

Hotel Aegean Melathron is a first class hotel, one that deserves the five star category measured not only by Greek, but also by European and North American standards. High quality service, excellent food, very nice beach and hospitable staff made our holiday absolutely wonderful and completely trouble free.
One minor observation: they should, if possible, do a better disinfection of the patio/park area in font of the ground floor suits to keep the ants off the tiled sitting area.

Pools, small houses instade of big bilding.
Long distance to the beach from the nee part of the hotel...

Very good food, nice personal and great sea!

We got a free upgrade to a sea veiw room. Food was excellent. Location very good. Staff extremelly friendly and helpfull. Excellent experience in all.
Sunbeds were free only at the pools and not at the beach
-
Perfect location, near the beach and with many pools... However, be careful to live on the low side of the complex... Rooms on the upper side are newer (2008), but far away from the sea... Rooms have splendid view, food is nice (although breakfast could be better for a 5*)... in general, personnel is wonderful and you do not need to lift a finger, which is mostly what you require in a 5* hotel!!!

The excellent service and the variety of food

It has a nice architecture with a lot of vegetation . The junior suite was good.
It isn't a hotel for family with children like ours. There were not any entertainments for kids. The reception staff was very unpleasant, when we have some questions they always delegate the answer to the students in practice at the reception of the hotel. We didn't feel appreciated there. The hotel have a policy of " no take away food from the restaurant " so if you have small children like us who doesn't eat at fix hours you will have a problem because they didn't let you to take a fruit for them or to make a sandwich and you must buy from them food - very expensive and the shops for buying food was very far and accessible only by car. In the offer it wasn’t stipulated that you must pay extra money for staying on the beach - this was another unpleasant surprise.

We enjoed all the time

We have had fantastic vacations there. The hotel facility is extremley beautiful. Important is to chose a room at the sea side as the whole area is divided by the main street of the peninsula. Very nice atmospere, fantastic clean sea and high value for money.
Important is to chose a seaside room. The room service was not on a five star level. Food was ok but not as tasty as in Greek tavernes in neighbor villages.
